Is the blood on our hands or in our hearts?

This post 9/11 GI Bill is the epitome of what is so vilely wrong with our system.

We are generating laws that are setups for the violence we see in the world. It is not some dark enemy it is the laws we pass and the amount of fervor in which we enforce them.

The ultimate muscle of this mobilization is the armed forces. Our government is bribing young minds that are, through media, shown doom and gloom all day by our amazingly corrupt media system.

Paying young minds money to kill for a corporate based military so clearly working against the very freedoms that they (the armed forces) originally made possible.

What if we paid an army of educated ecologists to help local populations enhance plant and animal diversity in all the regions of the world, including our own back yard’s? For a country that took that stand, I would lay my life down for.

What if we fought for people’s freedom to love and wed whomever and consume whatever based on their ability to do so peacefully with out unreasonable harm to self or others.

What if we had shown up in Iraq with eco tech and traditional with some modern medicines we would be in a wholly different place in relation to our sons and daughters, as aspect of a globe abundant with sons and daughters.

Through legislated and enforced laws of division we create a dark planet of fear and death.

Through compassion and freedom, we create the compassioned world of love’s unity.

It’s all choices and actions.

Is the blood on our hands or in our hearts?

It ain't over yet either. We are ramping up our saber rattling with Iran. This was what happened as a precursor to us going into Iraq. Now this just came to me from the Council for a Livable World.

Dear Friend,

The Bush administration is bolstering its case for war by labeling Iran one of the greatest threats to American security. Sound familiar? *

When it comes to Iran, it's not just Bush we need to worry about.

77 House Democrats and 92 House Republicans have co-sponsored a bill that approves an act of war against Iran.

Urge your Representative to vote AGAINST this provocative resolution!

As early as the second week in July, the House may vote on H.Con.Res. 362 – a resolution that demands Bush initiate an international effort to effectively impose a land, sea, and air blockade on Iran.

Without United Nations authority, such a blockade would be an act of war. The Iranian response is likely to be the use of force to break the blockade, which could spark a chain of events leading to a broader war.

The drumbeats for war continue to get louder – even from members who oppose the Iraq war and should know better than to approve a blank check for Gerge W. Bush.

Urge your Representative to vote AGAINST H.Con.Res. 362.

The United States has tried war in Iraq – it didn’t work like the hawks thought it would.

Threats of force against Iran are not working. It's time to try strong, tough-minded diplomacy with Iran.

War with Iran will undoubtedly bring disastrous consequences. Do your part to help prevent it today.

Contact your Representative now!

Sincerely,

John Isaacs and Guy Stevens
