Of the Corporation, by the Corporation, for the Corporation.
Our government has become the representatives of, and is in service to, corporations that are posting outrageous profits for a very small percentage of their workers. At the lead of this pack is the corporate military complex. These highly politically charged corporations that have bought their way into being the body that the United States Government serves above the needs of its people.
These corporations have bought the peoples government through profits made on the backs of the people, the consuming masses, (the economy,). And now in dealing with issues of Global Warming and more recently the Sub Prime Mortgage Collapse the positive or negative impact of these forces on the citizens of this country is considered last if at all.
The Corporate world is dictating its needs to our government, and they are getting swift and far reaching service. Issues of Global Warming and Sub-prime Mortgage Collapse are seen as inconveniences to the corporative establishment thus receive little or no attention from our government.
Corporate America needs our money so they can continue to make payments for the influential control of our government. Through tax breaks and favorable legislative wording. These companies have made the smallest percentage of our population the wealthiest people in the history of this country.
There was a time when companies used natural raw materials to make their profits. Today it is our pockets that they are miming through planed obsolescence, taxes, fees and interest. With these profits what better thing to buy than control of the United States Government.
Through corporate campaign donations the front runners are be primed for this same purpose. We are in desperate need of leadership unencumbered by commitments to the status quo. We need leadership that is free to be in service to the people.
Our current ways are greedy, unsustainable, socially irresponsible and are a threat to the health of our planet.
Current media entices consumers with an unsustainable life style concept. That favors replacement over maintenance, profits over any human, social or environmental factors.
We the people of the United States are the goose that laid the golden egg yet most of us are scraping along making due with less and less. Paying more and more money to the corporate elite. Who intern can afford more and more influence over our government.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Let us not be blind to the truth.

Like the sweet deal that Bechtel got from Massachusetts. Their shoddy workmanship on the Big Dig cost a woman her life, not to mention all the flaws that need to be fixed. Their punishment was a little over $400 million fine with no criminal action to be taken. Oh, but the small manufacturer who made the epoxy is under indictment, maybe because they didn't have the money to pay off the government. Oh, and what is the $400 million in penalties going to be spent on? Helping the family who lost their loved one? No. Schools? No. Road work and bridges that are falling apart? No. They are going to use the money to fix what Bechtel should have gotten right in the first place. A $2billion project that blew into something like a 16b project. And it leaks.
A dead citizen, crap work, all this is of no concern. It is Money first and last. We make it all happen yet wind up with the short end of the stick. In Europe the companies who work on the roads are responsible for them. They are the ones who pay if the road they built does not last as long as it was agreed or if it is flawed. A government that is behind its people does not protect companies that do shoddy work or cause the death of citizens. Folks baulk at the price of welfare in this country. So no money for hungry kids and poor mothers but corporations who put citizens at risk get bailed out through channels we have no vote in.
All we need is change, all we get is the same old short end of the stick. It would not be so bad if we were not the ones paying for it all.
